Honda Indy Toronto

For over a century, Toronto’s Exhibition Place has been home to auto racing events. However, it’s only since 1986 that the Honda Indy Toronto has laid its claim to fame as IndyCar’s second-oldest street race. This 2.84 km, 11-turn course has seen incredible moments in Indy history, including stunning victories by Scott Dixon, Paul Tracy, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Michael Andretti.

Originally known as the Molson Indy Toronto, Honda Indy Toronto still loops along Lake Shore Boulevard and through Exhibition Place. The infrastructure around the course looks a little different than in years past. However, now Hotel X presides over the track and offers easy access for guests to the Thunder Alley. Construction of the hotel meant moving the race pit and tightening turn 11, making for even more thrilling Honda Indy Toronto events since 2018, whether you’re watching from Falcon Skybar or the up-close grandstands by Lake Ontario.
