BuskerFest fills Toronto’s Woodbine Park with weird, wacky and wild performances for a good cause — this is Epilepsy Toronto’s biggest fundraiser of the year. From mime and acrobatics to the art of clown or fire juggling and stilts or standup comedy, there’s something for everyone at BuskerFest.
Bring plenty of cash for the entrance fee at BuskerFest and tip the street performers when you participate in this decade-long tradition. It’s for a good cause, after all. Once you’re in, keep your eyes peeled for the jugglers, musicians, magicians and daredevils doing the unexpected around every corner.
In years past, internationally renowned escapologist Rob Roy Collins slipped out of a straight jacket while dangling from a billboard on Dundas and Yonge, illusionist Steve Jones played card tricks, and the Stupendous Silver Sisters proved you don’t have to be young to put on a spectacular trapeze show.
